Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS*:
1. Possess a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree, i.e., Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), obtained at a school or college of veterinary medicine accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA).
2. Must be state licensed to practice veterinary medicine.

BEST QUALIFIED CRITERIA*:
1. Applicants should be personable, flexible and collaborative.
2. Veterinarians with one or more years of prior working experience is ideal.
**Applicants meeting the best qualified criteria will be referred to the Selecting Official first. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.
Conditions of Employment:
1. A one-year probationary period may be required.
2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
3. A completed and signed copy DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.

5. Successful completion of Occupational Health Assessment.
